AWANA Program

This is a Biblically based program that aims to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The curriculum for this program is provided by AWANA Clubs International. The program includes a games session, handbook time and a Biblical lesson. Children are provided with t-shirts and handbooks according to their level (there are four different levels). Participation is open to all children in the community and there is no associated charge. Activities take place at the CCP community center on Saturdays from 10am to 12pm. The program caters for children ages 3 to 16yrs.

Regular Event

AWANA Honor Camp: The top 15 kids who have preformed well in the AWANA Torch and Flame groups throughout the year have the opportunity to attend the AWANA Honor Camp during the first week of December. AWANA groups from churches all over Kenya come together and compete in games and Bible trivia. Top performing groups receive awards. Participating students are responsible to pay/raise one-third of the cost in addition to transportation expenses.
