Advanced Education

 

This program targets to assist the highest ranking students from Kawangware in attendance at local government schools. These students possess great potential for academic success yet they face various economic and social limitations. Acceptance into this program requires an overall average 70% for grades four, five and six. There are twelve students per class. Each class covers Math, English and Social Studies.

 

 

The highest class in this program is grade six; older students are encouraged to join the study hall. Children are not required to pay for tuition (tutoring). However, there is a small fee for extra curricular activities.  Classes take place at the CCP community center from Monday through Friday. Grades four, five, and six meet from 4:30p.m. - 6:30p.m.
