Grace Weds Wycliffe
Jubilation engulfed witnesses at Free Methodist Church, Karen when Grace Osendi, CCP’s Advanced Tuition Teacher and Wycliffe Opondo exchanged their marriage vows on April 24th 2010. Rev. Hawkins Mugaya, Highland Superintendent, Free Methodist churches officiated the wedding and led the couple in signing of their marriage certificate. Thereafter, the couple took Holy Communion together with the Pastors present. Rev. Elly Mudamba, the host Pastor, spoke on the importance of communication from the Bible in the book of Gen 2:19-25. He said that communication was vital in making the two one. Ps. Mudamba cautioned the two to mind their words when communicating with each other as they could build or destroy their marriage. He also stressed the importance of love, unity, openness, planning and making decisions together. The couple needed to look upon God for their marriage to succeed. We wish the couple God’s blessings and a happy marriage.
