Kawangware Day Good News Club (GNC) emerged the winner of this year’s April Bible Drill Competition held on 18th 2010 at CCP’s Community Center (CC), Kawangware. Ngando, CC Morning, Good Hope and CC Afternoon GNCs took the second, third, fourth and fifth positions respectively. The children competed in scripture knowledge from the Bible based on the Bible characters, texts and its authors. All the participating clubs received gifts such as biscuits and candies. This term’s GNC theme has been Prayer and Worship. Children were taught on the aspects of prayer such as when, where and how to pray as well as worship God. GNC is a Bible Study program that teaches children between 4-8 years the word of God through Bible lessons, discussions, and activities such as games. The Clubs meet every Saturdays for two hours in various GNC centers in Kawangware and Ngando.
