Grace Weds Meshack
Meshack Ochieng’ and Grace Ndolo, a CCP’s Social Worker wedded on December 19th 2009 at a colorful wedding held at Voice of Salvation and Healing Church (V.O.S.H), Nairobi. Bishop Barrack Odoro from V.O.S.H Church spoke on the roles of a husband and a wife from the Bible in the book of Genesis 2:18-24 and Ephesians 5: 21-24. He said that a woman was made a helper to a man and urged Grace to support her husband fulfill God’s purpose in their marriage. Wives were called to submit to their husbands as unto the Lord, a virtue that Grace was to emulate. In the same way, “Husbands should love their wives just as Christ loved the Church,” said Bishop Barrack. He called upon Meshack to love, comfort and protect his wife. He also encouraged the couple to communicate, commit and trust each other. They were also to plan their finances together for a successful marriage. After the sermon, Bishop Barrack led the couple in exchange of marriage vows, and signing of their marriage certificate as a sign of commitment to each other.
