Staff Christmas Party
The Staff Christmas party marked with pomp and excitement was held on December 19th 2009 at Grace House Resort Center, Nairobi. An enthusiastic mood engulfed the staff as they exchanged gifts. The gifts exchange fascinated many as those not contented with their gifts stole better gifts from their colleagues. The raffle game followed where the lucky ones won mobile phone air time worth Kenyan shillings 250 and 100. Thereafter, awards were given to Employees of the Year, CEO Employee of the year Award and Spiritual Ministry Outstanding Volunteers. Among those awarded for the Employees of the Year 2009 category were Margaret Mbugua, Gloria Muliro, Emmanuel Mlewa, Elijah Waswa and Joshua Maraka. The 2009 CEO Employee of the year award went to Nicholas Abuti for his exemplary service to the organization. On the other hand, the Spiritual Ministry recognized Thomas Mutisya, Nicholas Abuti, Pius Kimwele and Peter Njenga for their sacrificial and commitment to service in the department. James Behr, the CCP’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board, appreciated the staff for the dedication and commitment to work. He wished them a merry Christmas as they broke for the Christmas holiday. The staff also appreciated Ann Nekesa, the Educational Ministry Lead, and wished her God’s blessings as she transitioned out of CCP. To mark the day’s event, the staff celebrated and enjoyed together a buffet luncheon prepared in their honor.
