• Guardians’ Training on ‘Adolescence’

    Kawangware guardians training empowering guardians on how to handle adolescents occurred on February 6th 2009 at Full Gospel Church, Kawangware. Margaret Mbugua, the Medical Site Manager, described adolescence as a transitional stage of physical and mental human development that occurs between childhood and adulthood.

  • The First Medical Camp

    This year’s CCP’s first Medical Camp was held on January 30th, 2009 at the Community Center, Kawangware. Over 500 people inclusive of sponsored families and their friends attended the camp where they received free Observation, Consultation, Dental, Eye Check-up, Prayers, Pharmaceutical services and Voluntary Counseling Testing (VCT) services.

  • Staff Prayer Day

    The staff prayer day was held on February 1st, 2009 at the CCP’s Community Center, Kawangware. The day was a continuation of a six week Staff training on Follow Up program. In addition to Affirmation, Salvation, Assurance, and God’ Word, the staff covered the last two steps of Follow Up being Prayer and the Church.

  • Pre Teens Program Launch

    Over 60 preteens attended the new Pre Teens Program launched on January 16th 2010 at CCP’s Community Center, Kawangware. The program began with relay and balloon games.
