Pre Teens on July 24th 2010 learnt the relevance of accountability groups during a talk held at CCP’s Community Center, Kawangware.

Sponsorship Tuition Parents Attend a Meeting

Fifteen Sponsorship Tuition parents received a school report of their children’s academic and social welfare at a meeting held on July 23rd, 2010 at CCP’s Community Center, Kawangware. Katie Herbst and Tiffany Spooner, visiting students from Azusa Pacific University, California USA also attended the meeting and empowered parents on child sex education.

Francis Kataka’s Farewell

The staff on July 3rd, 2010 held a lunch in honor of Francis Kataka, the outgoing Spiritual Site Manager, at the Community Center, Kawangware. Francis, the longest serving staff, joined CCP in 2004 and has worked to see most programs in the Spiritual Ministry developed and established.

HIV/AIDS & Children

Guardians on July 3, 2010 were informed of the threat of HIV/AIDS to the children at a training held at Full Gospel Church, Kawangware. Rhodah Njue, a HIV/AIDS trainer, said that children were either infected or affected and therefore the need for parents to educate their children about causes of HIV/AIDS.
